Hello: I'm Tara Sher and I’m here to assure you it is never too late . . .
Approaching 50, I was parenting two young adolescents, working as a public interest lawyer, overweight, out of shape, exhausted, and diagnosed with pre-Diabetes.
Since my 50th birthday, I’ve:
-
Completed an Olympic distance triathlon (a goal set 20 years prior);
-
Hired a personal trainer + started strength training;
-
Squatted, deadlifted + bench pressed more than I ever imagined (b/c I wasn’t imagining);
-
Achieved my first chin-up;
-
Learned to eat + sleep better;
-
Gained muscle + lost fat;
-
Launched my third career + first business;
-
Earned certifications in personal training + nutrition;
-
Armed myself with knowledge + practical experience; and
-
Discovered my passion for coaching women 40+ to get stronger and healthier.
5 Core beliefs that I’ve adopted along this journey are:
-
Consistency Rules
-
Food is Fuel
-
Strong is Beautiful
-
Age is Power
-
My Time is Now
As I close in on 60, I’m stronger and healthier than my younger self. I take pride in my age and strength and inspiration from my clients. I include myself among the growing number of women who are combating ageism and redefining what’s possible in midlife and beyond.
I am more determined than ever to share my knowledge, passion and expertise with women 40+ who want to live an active, healthy life now and for years to come.
